Resources are available on a first call, first served basis.
- Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. For appointment requests less than 24 hours in advance, please contact Core personnel directly to request assistance.
- Appointments may not be scheduled greater than 2 weeks in advance.
- Cancellations must be called in at least 1 hour in advance.
- Missed appointments will result in usage charges to the principal investigator.
- Appointments are considered a no-show after 30 minutes of your scheduled time has elapsed, and your time will be given to the next person on the stand-by list. Please call if you will be late and accomodations may be made.
- The minimum time charged for instrument usage is one hour unless otherwise indicated.
- Researchers are responsible for securing and storing thier own data. Please inquire about storage space and login credentials for the MICR server.
All Microscopy, Imaging and Cytometry Resources Core (MICR) facility users are required to cite MICR in publications featuring MICR work. When citing this facility in your publications, please mention in the Materials/Methods section that your flow cytometry / in vivo imaging / confocal microscopy was done at the Microscopy, Imaging and Cytometry Resources Core at Wayne State University, School of Medicine.
Additionally, the MICR is supported, in part, through a NIH/NCI Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG), P30 CA022453 (PI: Pasche). Because of this support, any peer-reviewed manuscript which includes results from the MICR Core must adhere to the NIH Public Access Policy.
